January 30, 2015 Seven youth from Kenora attain $1,500 grants to launch their businesses Kenora, Ontario (January 30, 2015) – On January 29th, seven Aboriginal youth were awarded $1,500 each in grant monies to launch their new businesses. These youth all completed business plans, supported by I DO BUSINESS. Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneurship Program, delivered by Kenamatewin Native Learning Centre (KNLC). This program is generously funded by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment’s Strategic Community Entrepreneurship Program (SCEP). The SCEP program is a component of Ontario’s Youth Jobs Strategy, which is helping create 30,000 job opportunities for young people across the province.
