Ms. Brenda LaRose is a Métis citizen and brings over 25 years of experience leading executive search engagements across a broad range of industries and sectors and throughout most regions in Canada as well as internationally.   She is the founder of Higgins Executive Search. 

With strong knowledge of governance and organizational development, Ms. LaRose brings expertise in working closely with boards and executive teams to assess and identify strategies that will attract and retain the right leaders.  Ms. LaRose speaks regularly at national associations and conference on topics related to best practices in executive and board search.

She currently serves as the Vice-Chair and Trustee and is on the governance committee for the Seven Oaks Hospital & Wellness Institute Board and is a Board Member of the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development.  Ms. LaRose is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Certified Human Resource Management Professional (CHRP).  She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), from the Directors Education College of The Haskayne School of Business and is an active member in the ICD Manitoba chapter. Ms. LaRose recently was named as a 2015 Indspire Award (National Aboriginal Achievement Awards) recipient in the category of Business and Commerce.
